Leaving The Capital

The massive walls of BaSIng Se...legendary by any means. Two layers, both huge, absolutely enormous walls, well guarded by earth benders.In fact, they are said to be impenetrable because in order to open them you need an earth bender of substantial skill. As the king and his large military escort approached the gates many had gathered to see him off. The people loved their King and his presence would be missed even for the short time he was away. The guard went ahead of him and a good number of troops as well, the King placed near the middle but still in the upper half of the large line formation as they made their way through the city, his guard and earth bender elite around him. People looked on and cheered, as their King passed, some threw flowers and out of the crowd a little girl raced out to the king. The guards stopped her, but the king’s heart won out, waving them off as she approached handing him a lovely blue flower. He took it and smiled to her as she darted back to the crowd. He was loved.

Every face pained the King though. I was trapped within the prison of my body, knowing I had brought war upon these people, that loved me and I loved in return. Even if they hated him he’d still love them. But now he knew the plans his mind had cooked up, and it was sure to bring retaliation, and these people may very well suffer for it. It pained him and a tear escaped his eye. The King didn’t even notice, few did. But although under Mings control, this was all what he thought he wanted, the true king, the kings heart it seemed, broke for the decisions and wept. Such strong emotion seemed to show..As he rode Solomon, the mighty Bengal bear, they approached the final outer gate, the king watched forward, unable to look back for an unknown reason....because his heart couldn’t bear it..His strong jaw set and face hard as he passes under the massive stone gates. and down the narrow bridge of stone until he was on the road with his force to the ferries that were awaiting them. The gate guards and the ferry’s alike had a strong military presence and order not to allow anyone form the other nations passage, and especially no benders other then earth, for precautions. So no worry was to be had, if any of those were even seen around or heard of alarm would be sent and he’d hear of it. But still, maybe t was more the repercussions that could fallow for doing what he intended....Thoughts raced as the heavy stone could be heard thundering closed behind them, and the blue sky and vast distance promised excitement to come, and the promise of death and the fear that accompanied it..
