What Is A Rank?

A Rank simply determines how strong a members character is. It's pretty obvious a Skilled level character would be "weaker" then a Master level character, but this power gap could easily be closed with superior Role-Play and skill. A rank also determines if a member mastered their main element, advance bending technique, and how many techniques they can train.

What Rank Can You Start With?

When making a character, a member must follow a Character Template Guide. If this guide is followed perfectly, a member has a high chance of starting at a Skilled level. But if a member wants a even higher ranking like Master, they would have to double the requirement from the character guide, and it must make sense. Sometimes it pays off to take the time to create a good character.

Note: The Master level characters are only for people of important rank like, the Water chefs and Fire Nation King. Here are a list of the positions that can be start off at Master level...

Northern Water Tribe Chief or Southern Water Tribe Chief. But only one of them.

1 Air Council Member
Earth King

Note: But even before making a character the rankings are already standing, but with a good character bio these can easily become higher. These rankings are...

Everyone: Apprentice Level [Avatar must start at this level no matter how good the character bio.]
{8}Skilled Rpers: Skilled level. Skilled rpers are skilled at rping and character apps. If you have a good app you can start off at this rank.

Leaders|Kings: Master. To become a leader, a member must have a character bio which up to par with a skilled level member and prove that they can be active. If a member isn't able to log on for no longer then a month and without having a good reason why, staff will consider your character "missing" and appoint a new leader. If a member does comeback, their character will still be alive but no longer leader.

The Perks Of Being A Higher Rank

Apprentice: The Starting level for everyone. Apprentice level members start with the main element they pick. They also can create their first weapon. And can only train up to five beginner level techniques.

Beginner:The second level. Beginner level can train any amount of beginner techniques, and one Skilled technique. None-Benders now have the ability to create their second weapon or Fighting-Style. While Benders have the ability to create their first and only fighting-style.

Skilled: The third level. Benders are now masters of their main element, and can now start asking permission to train their first Advance Bending Technique. Skilled level can train any amount of beginner techniques. They can have up to five Skilled techniques, and train one master technique. None-Benders and Benders alike now have the chance to master their first weapon-Style or Fighting-Style. None-Benders can create their second weapon or Fighting-Style at this point.

Experienced: The Fourth Level. Benders are now masters of their first Advance Bending Techniques, while None-Benders can master their second weapon or Fighting-Style. Experienced level Can train any amount of techniques skilled rank and lower, and learn up to two Master level techniques total. None-Benders can create their third Fighting or Weapon-Style at this point.

Master: The fifth level. Benders can now start asking permission to train their second Advance Bending Technique. None-Benders now have the ability to master their third weapon. Master level Can train any amount of techniques skilled rank and lower, and can train three master techniques total. None-Benders can create their fourth and final Weapon or Fighting-Style.

Elite-Master: The last level. Benders are now master of everything, weapon, fighting-style, main element, and two Advance Bending Techniques. None-Benders also master everything at this point. All four Weapon-Styles and Fighting-Styles are mastered. Elite-Master level Can have any amount of techniques skilled ran and lower, and can train five master level techniques total.

How To Rank Up

It takes 1000 words in a topic to get one RUP (Rank Up Point). The Topic can be anything, Role-Play, Training, or just talking about your character taking a nap. It just has to be IC the entire time. When you finish a topic, count up your words. And if you have a couple thousands words, request it at Request Section and follow the Point Request Template. If everything is good, you should see the points on your data sheet within a few minutes. simple right?

Note:Plot threads are now worth double the RUPs. The threads must be about the site plot and nothing else. So get out there and make a name for your character! And make some easy RUPs while doing so.

How Many Points Does It Take To Rank Up?

Note: Even if a member starts with a character at Skilled or even master level, they still have to work their way up the ladder. What does that mean? It means, their RUP count starts at zero just like everyone else's. Also, when a member ranks up, their points do not reset. They stay at the current number, and a member aims for the next amount for the next rank.

Apprentice: 5 Rank Up Points, and 10 for the Avatar. Must learn three techniques from a teacher. Must be on the site for three days before ranking up.

Beginner: 10 Rank Up Points, and 15 for the Avatar. Must learn three more techniques. Must be on the site for one week before ranking up.

Skilled: 15 Rank Up Points, and 20 for the Avatar. Must learn three more techniques. Must be on the site for two weeks.

Experienced: 20 Rank Up Points, and 30 for the Avatar. Must learn three more techniques. Must be on the site for three weeks.

Master: 30 Rank Up Points, and 40 for the Avatar. Must learn two more techniques. Must be on the site for three weeks.

Elite-Master: 45 Rank Up Points, and 50 for the Avatar. Must learn at least two more techniques and one advanced element mastered. Must be on the site for one month.
